Family of Origin Difficulties
Our family of origin is the family we grew up in, not nessarily what we define as family now. It is the place where we first learn about the world and the place that helps shape who we are today. Difficulties can arise when we feel unloved, abandoned, abused, neglected, or rejected as children. These difficulties can have a profound impact on us as we mature.

Common Concerns that may be related:

  • Identity Issues
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Stress
  • Difficulty with boundary setting
  • Fear of starting own family
  • Difficulties in parenting
